Oona and I took the bus home from school today and some jerk yelled at us. She didn’t want to sit down, and she didn’t want to stand near me, so I forced her to sit on my lap and she was crying. After a little while this guy turns around and says “Make your kid to shut up already!” I mumbled under my breath “You’ve obviously never had kids.” and then he yelled at me “GET HER TO SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY!” \u2014 I was shocked into silence, but the bus driver, who was helping a woman in a wheelchair get on the bus threatened to throw him off the bus if he didn’t get himself under control. An a bunch of other people in the front of the bus yelled out “Cry louder!” <\/p>\n
