After months of struggling with wiggling and crying and closed fists and pulling fingers, today Oona finally let me cut her nails!<\/p>\n<p>We were reading a story and I looked at her, paused, and I asked her if I could cut her nails. She looked at me with a little expectant smile, so I thought \u201chmm, maybe this will work\u201d and went to get the clippers. And suddenly upon taking her hand in mine, her first little index finger popped out!
