Every day I ask Oona “So how was your day?” and she says “good.”
And then I ask “What did you do in school?” and she says “play with my friends.”
So today, trying to draw information out of her, I tried a different tactic… “Oona, what did Gracie say in school today?”
She thinks…
“Um… No!”
“Gracie said ‘No’? About what?”
“Bubbles.”
“She said no to bubbles?”
“She said no to Ooooooona!”
Confused…
“Wait, Gracie said no to you? Did she say no about bubbles?”
“It was Oona’s turn. Gracie say ‘No!'”
And there you have it.
